Staff School Materials Reimbursement

The Little River PTA provides reimbursement of school materials to every teacher and assistant teacher of the school staff.  These Staff School Materials Reimbursements are provided to make sure that school staff do not have to dip into their own pockets to purchase class items.

Reimbursement Budget:
The 2018-2019 budget provides for $200 for full-time teachers and $100 for assistant teachers. This budgeted amount will be reimbursed once a year for all full-time and assistant teachers.

What Items are Reimbursed:
The primary purpose of the Staff School Materials Reimbursement is to provide money to teachers to use throughout the school year for small and/or consumable items for their classrooms.

Teachers should not use the Staff School Materials Reimbursement for activities outside the classroom or for larger expenditures on items that will remain in the classroom past the end of the school year.

Examples of supplies that are reimbursed are: art supplies for a class project, supplies to support a classroom pet, small games or learning tools, supplies for a classroom experiment.

To Get Reimbursed:

  1. Teachers can submit to be reimbursed only one time a year.
  2. Submit all receipts along with the PTA Expense Reimbursement Form for reimbursement.
  3. Deadline for submittals is Thursday, December 7, 2018
  4. Any requests received after the deadline will not be approved.
  5. Submit the form and attached receipts to StaffReimbursement@littleriverpta.org
  6. Do not leave hard copy’s in the PTA mailbox, they will not be processed.
