What are the benefits of joining PTA?

There’s no better way to find out what’s happening at Little River. PTA functions are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, build rapport and discuss issues that are on your mind. You can share ideas, concerns, and experiences. PTA can also be a way for you to more effectively suggest change at Little River. By volunteering, you can put your skills and hobbies to use for a great cause—your child and all children in the community.

Little River PTA members automatically become members of National PTA. Your PTA Membership Card will provide access to member-only discounts and resources through PTA.org. All members, parents and staff are welcome at monthly PTA meetings.

What are some examples of PTA activities?

LRE PTA has helped to foster a welcoming environment in the school by providing programs including:

  • After School Programs (i.e. Chess Club, Lego Club)
  • School Technology & Resource Materials (i.e. iPads, Guided Reading Library)
  • Curriculum stipends for teachers
  • School assemblies
  • Community Events including Bingo Bash, Winter Dance & the Faculty Basketball Game.

Who can join the Little River PTA?

Everyone can join the PTA! PTA membership is open to anyone who cares about the education, health and welfare of Little River's children.

What are the membership fees?
